Sekonda Team Designs: Build Your Watch

We asked members from various teams at Sekonda to share with us their designs that they built using our Build Your Watch tool. Their designs showcase the versatility of the tool and hopefully will give you some inspiration for when you build your watch!

Ram's Watch - E-commerce team.

Ram has gone for an all black watch. With a black mesh strap and square case Ram said that he wanted a ‘tactical looking watch with a design that says "Wakanda forever" perfectly.’ This is a perfect example of how you can use the Build Your Watch tool to represent your personality in your accessories!

Rosie - Brand team.

Rosie has created her watch with upcoming events and occasions in mind! Rosie's watch has a lilac, faux leather strap as she has ‘got a few weddings coming up and this would match my outfits beautifully'. She has also picked the smaller case size along with a rose gold case as she has a lot of rose gold jewellery to match it with! It is so hard to find accessories to match special outfits and we hope Rosie gets lots of wear out of her beautiful watch!

Calvin - Insight team.

Calvin has designed his watch with both ‘professional and social’ environments in mind. Calvin wants a watch that looks both good in the workplace and after work! It is important to Calvin to have a watch with ‘an all round classy look!’ and therefore has gone with an all black design with the largest face ‘with a hint of gold on the case’ as it makes the watch stand out.

Becca - Creative team.

Becca’s idea was to create a watch that is ‘classy and elegant’. She often finds it hard to find something that will fit her small wrist and does not like big chunky statement jewellery. Becca is a regular watch wearer and likes ‘a watch that is on trend and will match my outfits from day to night’. Definitely created a neutral but beautiful watch there Becca!

George - Digital Accounts team.

George has switched it up and gone for a green dial! When creating his watch, George said that he liked the ‘contrast between the gold and the green as it appears regal’ We couldn’t agree more that the green dial is a unique but tasteful colour choice, especially with gold designs! George also said that he chose a mesh strap because ‘it is easily adjustable and the clasp creates a clean line.’ Such a clean and tasteful design! We love it!

Katie - Marketing team.

Katie has designed her watch around a mesh strap as mesh straps are her ‘absolute favourite!’ Katie was going for ‘a classic feel with a more simplistic and softer look.’ Although Katie also has small wrists she has opted for a large case as she prefers the style and ‘this combo of gold case and green dial will make such a great statement whilst also being able to be worn daily with various outfits.’ We couldn’t agree more, Katie! Great choice!

There seems to be a trend with green dials and mesh straps! Although we can’t blame them, they look great! Mesh is the perfect summer material, but leather still has its upsides of being traditional and wearable all year round.
