This is a very nice gents watch with a medium-large dial that's got a deep blue/purple sunray dial. This is a very nice gents watch with a medium-large dial that's got a deep blue/purple sunray dial. A selling point of this unit is that the case is milled out of a block of Stainless Steel. No plating will wear off of a chrome or gold plated alloy case, like many other Sekondas. There's a clear Day & Date display window at 3 O'clock. It's water resistant to 50 meters (many Sekondas are only resistant to 30 meters). The crown's protected by two case protrusions, similar to a diver's watch design. I've found the crown action to be very finicky when changing time. It's got a *very* light touch, shifting the hands out just by pushing the crown back in place, which can be frustrating; it's a budget watch after all! The bracelet's a nice part-brushed/part-polished link type. You can use the spring bar on the buckle/catch to make small adjustments in size. If you need to remove links, it has the most intricate adjustment of all bracelets. Sekonda offer a free strap adjusting service and I suggest you use it with this one. The links are not connected by regular pins, rather there's an L-shaped bracket in each link that has to be removed. This watch has a classic look that goes with any dress. It looks and feels more expensive than it us (until you adjust the hands with that crown!). I've noticed it keeps good time on its 377 (4GA) battery which lasts around 20 months in this watch. I think it's only lost a second a month. A very highly recommended unit and one of Sekonda's best sellers for good reason.Read moreThis is a very nice gents watch with a medium-large dial that's got a deep blue/purple sunray dial.
